Rodeo Austin continues to promote a safe and healthy environment at each of our events and for all attendees. Our March events including the Junior Livestock Show, Ag Mechanics, Ultimate Scramble Championship and the Youth Auction will remain private events with limited attendance and not open to the public.
All previously announced health and safety guidelines as approved by Travis County will remain in place, including COVID-19 Screenings and temperature checks. Rodeo Austin and the Travis County Expo Center will continue to require a face covering for all guests throughout the duration of our 2021 Show.
All individuals, including exhibitors, guests, Rodeo Austin staff and volunteers, are required to wear a face covering during all events at the Travis County Expo Center. Face coverings must cover the mouth and nose.
Exhibitors must wear a face covering while exhibiting in the show ring.
Individuals may lower their face covering only while:
- Socially distanced from others in stalls/pens and in designated camping areas, outside of the show barn.
- Seated amongst your exhibitor or family group in marked seating areas in the stands.
- While eating or drinking.
Masks are still highly encouraged in all areas and at all times.
Please respect all guests and personnel on the Rodeo Austin grounds, as COVID-19 continues to be present in our community. Following all health and safety guidelines provides the best opportunity to successfully host our private events.
Our March events will remain private and total wristbands allotted will remain unchanged.
We are excited to host the 2021 Events in the face of these challenging times. At Rodeo Austin, we believe it takes grit to grow the next generation – it’s in our roots.
