Science for Youth
The Youth Robotics Challenge is a contest designed to allow participants the opportunity to demonstrate their robotics, engineering, and problem-solving skills. Teams of students will showcase engineering design, programming skills and strategy in this tournament style contest.
Youth Robotics Challenge
Students may enter in the Junior Division (for 3rd-8th grade) or Senior Division (for 9th-12th grade). Teams of up to # students will bring a fully assembled and programmed robot to compete against others.
Robot will have to complete “known challenges” along with “unknown challenges” that are released the day of the contest. There will be preliminary matches in which teams earn points. The sum of those two matches plus the teamwork score will determine the team’s total score. The top 5 teams in each age division will advance to the final match. For known challenges and further contest information visit the Texas 4-H website.
