Rodeo Austin Junior Leaders

The Rodeo Austin Junior Leader Program offers students in 9th-12th grade the opportunity to grow as leaders through workshops, events, and hands-on experiences throughout the year. This nine-month program is designed to build leadership and teamwork skills while encouraging purposeful community service activities.

Junior Leaders will participate in cooperative learning events, team-building activities, guest speaker presentations, projects, and more. In addition to personal growth opportunities, participants will work alongside Rodeo Austin volunteers during the annual two-week Rodeo event.

The application process includes an online or in-person interview, and there is not guaranteed acceptance into the program.

Applications for the 2025-2026 Junior Leader Program are now open. Applications will close September 1, 2025.
