Mutton Bustin' Fun

The crowd favorite, Mutton Bustin’, is where aspiring young cowboys and cowgirls get eight seconds of fame by busting out of the chutes aboard a sheep. Participants are scored on their own performance and on the animal, just like the professionals. All kids receive a score, even if they don’t ride ’til the eight second buzzer. Mutton Bustin’ Mania takes place every Saturday of the Fair & Rodeo in the Wild West Tent. Child must be the ages of 5-7 and under 55 pounds to participate. Registration may be done in advance on our website or on day-of the event.

Mutton Bustin’ Mania takes place every Saturday (March 9, 16, and 23) at 3:00 p.m. in the Wild West Tent!
