Inspiring Our Youth
The Youth Art Show is an exciting competition that enables students to express their creativity and showcase their skills while earning money to put towards their future. Students from Texas grades 4 – 12 can enter their artwork in the areas of traditional, photography, digital and sculpture/3D. No school or organization affiliation is required for entry. Western or Texas heritage inspired pieces encouraged but not required. The 2024 Rodeo Austin Youth Art Show will be held on Friday, February 2nd with the reception to follow the judging.
The top 8 Art pieces will be part of the Youth Auction held at the Rodeo Austin fairgrounds inside the 100X Dance Hall on Saturday, March 23, 2024. If you are interested in purchasing one of the top pieces, register here https://rodeoaustin.com/get-involved/donate/youth-auction/buyers-group/.

2024 SCHEDULE:
Friday, February 2, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Art Drop Off and Check-in
Friday February 2, 1:30 – 5:30 p.m. – Judging (Closed to Public)
Friday, February 2, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. – Art Winners Revealed and Art Reception
Friday, February 2, 7:30 – 8:00 p.m. – Non-Placing Art Pick-Up
Saturday, March 23, Approx 3:00 p.m. – Live Art Auction
Art show will take place at the Palmer Event Center. Live Art Auction will take place on the Rodeo Austin Fairgrounds. Times are subject to change.
Important Details
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
$15.00 per entry. Exhibitors must enter online. Please be sure to complete the entry form below and mail-in to the Rodeo Austin office.
Each Exhibitor may enter one (1) piece of artwork in each Division of Traditional, Photography, Digital Art and Sculpture/3D. No more than one Exhibitor may work on a single entry. No group projects are eligible for entry in the Show. Each entry must be titled.
