Last Updated March 10, 2021

As previously announced, the ProRodeo, Carnival, Fair and BBQ Austin events will not be taking place this March (more). Private youth competitions, including the Junior Livestock Show, Ag Mechanics Competition, Ultimate Scramble Championship and the Youth Auction, have been modified and will be held March 12-28. This event is closed to the public, and only those participating in the event will be provided credentials.

The health and safety of Rodeo Austin livestock participants, volunteers and staff are of the utmost importance to us this spring. The following measures have been put in place: participants have a limited number of wristbands for entry, some shows have been divided into more than one day to reduce daily attendance, all participants/volunteers/staff will be required to complete daily health questionnaires and temperature checks, individuals will be required to wear face coverings that cover their mouth and nose during all events, increased cleaning and sanitization will occur daily, seating in bleachers will be marked to accommodate social distancing, camping or loitering in the show barn will be prohibited, and signage/announcements at the event will reiterate the health safety policies.

Rodeo Austin and the Travis County Expo Center will continue to require a face covering for all individuals throughout the duration of the 2021 Livestock Show. Please review the complete health safety policies prior to arriving.
